Pitcher Pete Milligan
1948 National Champs
Donald Minnick and Pete Milligan were NJ Post 93's star high school pitchers. Pete was 6-2 on the season, winning the critical semi-final game with a 2-0, 3-hit shut out.
Over 14,000 American Legion teams competed for the 1948 title; over 5,000 fans saw the finals at Victory Field in Indianapolis.
