Shane Wells
I learned about Shane from an article describing his enormous collection of LSU athletic memorabilia -- he's literally dedicated an entire section of his house to it! Shane was very interested in becoming a trustee for Pete Burge's watch (since I was unable to locate any of Pete's immediate family....).
Shane and I have begun to work with the LSU Alumni Office to see if we can get Pete posthumously nominated to the LSU Athletic Hall of Fame. Hopefully we will get an article published about him the Alumni magazine. We'll keep you posted on our progress!
