Lt. E. W. Allen: Commander, Training Squadron 11-B Corpus Christi TX 1942
In 1941, Lt. Allen was assigned as Commander of Squadron 11-B at Corpus Christi TX Naval Air Station. These cadets received their primary flight training here using Stearman and N3N aircraft.
In honor of their May 1942 graduation, the Squadron 11-B cadets presented Commander Allen with a shockproof automatic Mido MultiFort wrist watch, engraved "Lt. E. W. Allen ~ Sqd. 11-B Crew ~ May 1942"
