This watch was purchased in November, 2018 from eBay seller "Barleycat" (Todd Ciske). Todd lives near Milwaukee, and purchased it at an estate sale.  He provided me with the address -- which turned out to be the former home of Michael Keller's youngest son Richard (1929 - 2014).

 

It appears that a member of the his family continued to live at Richard's house until it was put up for sale in 2018.  The estate sale was then held, and the watch sold to Todd.

Michael Keller's 1918 trench watch was kept in the family for exactly 100 years -- and although they decided to sell it, Michael's legacy will be maintained for the next generation by me....
