Chikara Masuda - Army Training

​

Based on his Army Dog Tags, Chikara was stationed in 1942-43 at Dodd Field, Ft Sam Houston TX.

 

Chikara was a Private 1st Class in the 11th Armored Division / 490th Armored Field Artillery Battalion, and received training as an Acetylene and Electrical Welder at Camp Claiborne, Louisiana.

By February 1944, he was stationed at Fort Sill, OK.
