David Breese's 1947 Orator Watch

Orator was owned by the Schild company, founded by Adolph Schild. They were based in Le Chaux-de-Fonds, a town in Switzerland where many watch factories were/are based. 

 

As described by the British eBay seller, "The watch itself is a very nice Orator Military watch, with lovely clear dial. It is quite a big watch for its time measuring 33mm diameter not including the crown.  It has a 16-jewel movement. The screw back case is marked 'Incabloc  ~ Antimagnetic ~  Waterproof ~ Stainless Steel Back ~ Swiss Made ~ 206D 1130'. It is also inscribed 'P/264541 ~ Capt D Breese.  A very nice vintage military watch with a great history."
