Capt. David A. Breese Post-War Career

Upon his demobilization in 1948, Breese earned a degree in Architecture from Liverpool University. He continued as a civilian to serve with the Airborne Forces from 1948 – 1964 in the 131st Air Borne Engineering Regiment.

In 1952, David married Margaret Gwyneth Owen (1930-1989). They had one son, Gareth Owen Breese. 

 

Major Breese was awarded an MBE on December 29th, 1959.  He was a founder member, life member, and past President of the North Wales Branch of the Royal Engineering Association.

 

David Alexander Breese passed away peacefully at age 89 at Queen Elizabeth Court in Llandudno, Wales.
